Quit Friendster
I hereby announce that I officially closed my Friendster account.

After using it for a decade (or more), I finally called it a day and decided to close my account. One (strong) reason behind this closure is that my friends received kinky messages from me which I did not send those in the first place (thanks to Cheryl for notifying me). Besides, Friendster is getting messier and I seldom check my account lately. So, there is no point for me maintaining the account and receive notification from them any further.
So, use Facebook-lah…

Equipped with my Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS and Joby Gorillapod, the picture above was taken on one fine evening. The original photo was cropped since my lens focal range is not powderful long enough.
Banana Leaf Rice
What a better way to enjoy a wholesome meal than to have banana leaf rice.

I’ve to admit they are sinful meal. It is as sinful as eating BKT every single meal. Without fail, by the end of the meal, I’m so bloated till I couldn’t swallow any solid food for the next 2 hours.

Pictures above taken during my last visit to Restoran Kanna Curry House in Section 17, Petaling Jaya. Somehow, that’s one of my favourite places to go to for banana leaf rice.

Oddly, each time I took out my camera to snap the pictures above, the waiters crowded around me to see what I’m doing. From their facial expression, they (the waiters) were excited to see my “actions”. At times, I feel that my DSLR attracts unwanted attentions from them and we tend to have better responsive treatment like given vast amount of papadams, constant top-up of vegetables and rice without me asking for it and etc. Or maybe it is just my thoughtless opinion…
Star Wars : The Clone Wars
Just came back from the preview.

Things you might be (really) interested in:-
1) If you are going to buy the tickets, please do yourself a favour and go for The Dark Knight instead. Trust me, you’ll be very satisfy with this selection.
2) IF you have purchased the tickets, please exchange for The Dark Knight a.s.a.p!!
3) IF you have not purchase the tickets, wait for Wall-E instead!!
4) If Wall-E is not out yet, by all means, go for the cheapest rate tickets possible.
5) If you are forced to watch this show, please select midnight shows or whenever there is no kids around. They (kids) are pests in the cinema. I had bad bad experience while watching with them around. They have this short attention syndrome whereby they could only concentrate for not more than 5 mins (I’ve already give them face-lah!!). Heck, if possible, please ban all kids below puberty age from entering the cinema hall!!
6) Please do not hold/have/whatever-it-is any high expectations for this movie. I didn’t have any right after I watched the trailer.
7) There were a handful of ‘funny’ scenes in it that could (without guarantees) make you chuckle a little (Read: chuckle!! Not ROFLOMGBBQSAUCELOL kind). You need to listen carefully but I doubt so if there are kids.
8) Lame old plot with lame ass butt drawing. Even Finding Nemo beats the shit out of this movie.
9) Even the real Star Wars with real people (and with the ‘kayu’ Anakin) in it beats the shit out of this movie.
10) The good thing is that it ‘tortured’ me for 1.5 hours only.
Thank god I got these preview tickets for free. Else, I’ll be stabbing myself with straw in the cinema.
Short Trip To Malacca

After my lunch, I (by myself) headed down south to the historical land of Malacca for a really really short visit. It only takes 1.5 hours drive from KL, that’s if you obey to highway’s speed limit and if there is no accident along the highway.

Nobody knows about me going to Malacca. Neither did I tell my parents about it. I went M.I.A. just like that. “Are you nuts? Why by yourself?”, some asked. I smiled at them. I know I would be (nuts) if I stay in KL for a long time. Neither did I tell them my reasons for this trip. But heck, here’s the answer for those who eager to know. My main reason for this ‘impromptu’ trip was simple; to get time off from KL and to meet up a great chap in Malacca; Jason (jasonmumbles.com).

There was no plan at all. No schedules. No itineraries. I left those to the ‘reliable team’ to decide. We probably spent the entire time eating rather than sight seeing. Haha.

There were more than those shown up there, such as Baba cendol, normal cendol, double cheese naan and ayam tandoori.

At night, we went back to Jonker Street for a stroll before my journey back to KL. I wished I could stay longer but somehow, as they say, things got to end sooner or later.

Jian Akiraceo and Jason
A gazillion thanks to the wonderful chaps above for their time and effort and patience. It was a simple, refreshing and fun trip. Furthermore, short trip like this brings back my sanity and allows me to be carefree for a day (or at least half a day).
